About

3rd Year, Environmental Studies Major with a Minor in Educational Studies from Patterson, CA.

Post-Graduation Aspirations
After graduation, I hope to work in the environmental education field or return to school to earn my teaching credentials and become a teacher.

Involvement on Campus and/or in the Larger SB Community
I’m a member of UCSB ITO, a Polynesian dance and drumming appreciation club, and I work as a student supervisor at the Student Resource Building.

Favorite Memory at UCSB So Far
One of my favorite memories is going out to Campus Point with friends one night, lying down, and stargazing.

Most Looking Forward to Experiencing During My Remaining Time at UCSB
I’m excited to meet more people in my major and spend as much time as I can with the amazing friends I’ve made here.

Hobbies
In my free time, I love taking care of my houseplants and playing video games

Advice for Incoming Students
One thing I wish I knew before starting at UCSB is that friends will come and go, and that’s completely okay. Especially during your first year, everyone’s still finding their groove, and sometimes you won’t stay in touch with everyone you meet. But it’s still so worth it to put yourself out there and find those long-lasting friendships

Message to Incoming Yardi EJ Scholars
Welcome to UCSB! I’m so excited for you to begin this new journey in life. It’ll be crazy, fun, and sometimes a little scary, so don’t be afraid to try new things, ask questions, and explore EVERYTHING! For such a small campus, there are a lot of great opportunities, so make the most of them.
