My name is Ismael Rodriguez, I am a Pre-Political Science Major and I’m from San Diego, California. I am interested in poetry, writing, creative journaling, politics and musical performance. I’m pretty passionate about social justice, learning new things, and being creative. I most look forward to seeing how I integrate myself in the grander UCSB socioacademic life and am excited to join clubs, attend student events and just meet new people. I plan to have a 3.5+ GPA by the end of my first quarter and have participated in any social group I find interesting. I hope to gain a strong sense of community from the Yardi Program and am honestly just am excited to get back to school.
