My name is Itzel Asencion. I’m from Lindsay, CA and going to pursue a Bio-Chem major. I am a huge Minecraft nerd and spend long hours playing. Dyeing my hair is one of my favorite things to do, I’ve dyed my hair so many times I consider it a hobby. I am most excited about the learning opportunities UCSB has to offer. Whether they are personal or academic, I can’t wait to see what’s in store. Being at UCSB will also make me become more independent and add to my personal growth. All of my hard work is so I can become an OBGYN and I will do everything to achieve that. I am most excited for all of the knowledge I will gain by being a Yardi Scholar. Helping the planet is my passion, and I know the Yardi EJ Scholars Program will focus on that.
