Hey! My name is Luis Esteban Alcazar, and I'm majoring in Environmental Studies. I'm from Waterford California, which is where I found my love for skating and star gazing. I also love to play video games, listen to music, and draw. Above all, though, I love spending time with my friends. My two main goals at UCSB is to enjoy my time while I'm there, and to figure out what I would like to do after graduating. I'm really looking forward to my time at UCSB because I think it will be a great place to make great friends and prepare myself for the future. As part of the Yardi Ej Program, I hope to gain confidence in myself academically and professionally. I still don't have my college and career plans completely figured out, but the Yardi Ej program has already allowed me to take a small peek into the types of experiences and opportunities that await me, so I'm not too worried. I'm excited to see what lies in store for me at UCSB as a Yardi Scholar.
