My name is Mahlia Gonzales I am a Pre-sociology major and I am from Santa Maria California. I love to binge watch tv shows, hangout with my family, and I love to bake. What I am looking forward most at UCSB is joining many clubs and making new friends. My goal is to get my masters in sociology to either become a social worker or go back to the High school I graduated to become a college career counselor. As a Yardi Scholar, I hope to gain more knowledge on environmental justice and what part I can make with my major to improve our communities.
