Hi everyone! My name is Melani Juarez, and I’m from the San Fernando Valley, majoring in political science. I’m super excited to be the first in my family to attend college and cannot wait to grow as an individual and learn new things everyday.
I love going on hikes and trying new food places. I’m most excited about being in a new environment and becoming more independent. My long-term goal is to pass the bar exam and become a lawyer, while my semi-long-term goal is to study abroad during my undergraduate. During my time in the Yardi EJ Program, I hope to gain experience and valuable information regarding all types of environmental challenges, with the desire to take new knowledge back to
my hometown and helping my community become a better place.
