My name is Oluwatobi Olukanmi, and I’m from Palmdale, CA. As I begin my freshman year at UCSB, I’ll be majoring in Pre-Economics & Accounting while also pursuing the Pre-Dentistry Track. I love anything adventurous—whether it’s trying new foods or exploring new hiking spots. I also enjoy drawing, cooking, and spending time with friends.
I’m excited to be surrounded by a new community of students, especially coming from a small town where everyone knows everyone. Just experiencing college life in general is something I’ve really been looking forward to, especially since so many people speak so highly of UCSB! I’m also thrilled to be joining the Yardi EJ Program this year. I hope to gain meaningful insight into environmental issues and use that knowledge to help improve our world. Being part of a group of students who share that same passion gives me the opportunity to connect and grow alongside them!
