Yardi EJ Scholars are UC Santa Barbara undergraduates committed to advancing environmental justice through multidisciplinary learning, collaboration, and community engagement.
The program supports students through a close-knit four-year cohort experience that combines academic coursework, experiential learning, and professional development. Scholars grow as environmental changemakers, developing teamwork, leadership, and applied problem-solving skills.
Yardi EJ Scholars receive multi-year financial support that, combined with other aid, may result in a debt-free pathway to graduation. Students also benefit from wraparound support services, one-on-one advising, faculty and peer mentorship, access to funding for meaningful learning experiences, and opportunities to connect through retreats, workshops, and community events.
