Hello, Im Genaro Garcia Cruz. I’m an incoming freshman pursuing a degree in Accounting/Economics. I grew up 1 hour away from Santa Barbara in a small town called Santa Maria. Some of my interests include going to the gym, running, going to explore nature, and watching movies. During my time at UCSB, I hope to make a lot of connections and try to find a way to the top through networking. I also want to make a lot of friends and have a fresh start from the problems caused from highschool. I'm also really excited about how social the university is and how everyone is so kind, especially the people at Yardi.
My short term goal is to prepare for all the academic stress that's going to come in the following months and everything that UCSB is going to throw at me.
What I hope to accomplish through Yardi is to get amazing friends who will hopefully be with me throughout my 4 years of university. I also hope to get more information about what's going on with the world's environment and how people affect it daily, and how we can make a difference.
